PECKHAM ARCHITECTURE’S LEED PLATINUM HOME Office IS MISSOURI’S FIRST PASSIVE HOUSE INSTITUTE US (PHIUS) CERTIFIED BUILDING, DESIGNED TO BE THE GREENEST HOUSE ON EARTH.

The home performs at net-positive energy, which means that it PRODUCes MORE ELECTRICITY THAN IT CONSUMES.


WE ACHIEVED THIS LEVEL OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY USING GREEN BUILDING TOOLS INCLUDING SOLAR PANELS, SUPER INSULATION, LED LIGHTS, ERV (ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATION), A TANKLESS WATER HEATER AND ENERGY STAR APPLIANCES.

The Home features A 1,200-SQUARE-FOOT OFFICE AND 2,500 SQUARE FEET OF LIVING SPACE FOR NICK AND DIANE PECKHAM, PLUS A GARAGE AND UNHEATED 3-SEASON PORCH.

The site is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat. In addition to existing native timber, We Planted a Holly tree from our family farm south of columbia; three maples; three oaks; one pear; four river birch and a norway spruce.
